Maria Marcus is a Swedish songwriter, producer, topliner and artist with an international career spanning pop, K-pop, J-pop and electronic music.

With a multi-platinum career, Maria has written and produced for artists across Korea, Japan and internationally. Her credits include Jung Kook, Red Velvet, aespa, TWICE, ITZY, tripleS, NiziU, The Boyz, Everglow, YENA, Oh My Girl!, Monsta X and Namie Amuro, among many others.

Her recent work includes Jung Kook’s “Stay Alive”, Red Velvet’s “Feel My Rhythm”, aespa’s ”Pink Hoodie”, “Til We Meet Again” and “You”, TWICE’s “Brave”, ITZY’s “UNTOUCHABLE”, TripleS’ “Girls Never Die”, NiziU’s “SWEET NONFICTION” and ARTMS’ “Virtual Angel”. Her latest releases include work with Billlie, TripleS and JVKE & JEON SOMI.

Beyond songwriting and production for artists, Maria works across vocal production, performance, sync and commercial music. She has written music for major Swedish advertising campaigns, including commercials for Hemtex and Gina Tricot, while continuing to collaborate with artists and producers across the international pop and electronic music scene.

As an artist and featured vocalist, Maria has appeared on releases including Ferry Corsten’s “High On You”, FERR’s “And Then You Came” and Moist’s “Hearts Burn Slow”, combining her songwriting and production background with her own vocal identity.

Based in Sweden and working internationally, Maria continues to create music across cultures, genres and formats, from contemporary K-pop to global pop, electronic music, sync and her own artist projects.
