Asteroid produced and released “Renegade” today co-written with Maria Marcus and Malin Johansson who is also the featuring artist.

One of the most exciting releases this year has been the song “Anonymous”. First recorded by a male artist but a last minute change got Maria to record it instead.

One of the collaborations during Maria’s time in Palma, where she lived back and forth for 3 years, was with Andres Ballinas and german SMIIE. They wrote “925”, “Not Your Type” and “Fool” that all have been released the previous year. Last two were also sang by Maria Marcus.

Maria Marcus co-wrote the song “Fermata”, B-side on Oh GG!’s release Lil’ Touch.

OH MY GIRL had a succes with “Windy Day” that was written and produced by Andreas Öberg and Maria Marcus. Today was the release of Love o’clock written by the same team. 

On it’s 7th day of release, Namie Amuro’s all time best album “Finally” surpassed 1.2 million in sales. It is increasingly rare for an album to surpass 1 million in sales. The last album to do so was AKB48’s 2014 album “Tsugi no Ashiato” which sold 1,041,355 through the entire year. The last album to sell over 1 million copies in its first week was Utada Hikaru’s “Utada Hikaru Single Collection Vol. 1” which was released on march 31, 2004. Maria Marcus co-wrote and produced “Mint”, co-wrote “Showtime” and “Christmas Wish” that was a part of this ‘Best of’ Album to summarize Namies 25 year long career. Released 2017-11-08.
